The one thing you can not do in Maine is control the weather – yet it seems that Christina and Justin had an in with Mother Nature last Saturday for their December wedding. I met Christina and Justin 16 months ago, through a connection I made with her mother about my shoes, and two themes resonated through all of our discussions – the first being they wanted to do a vintage inspired engagement session (you might remember them!) and the second being they would like snow for their wedding day. Done and Done! When Christina pulled into the church parking lot the snow was just starting and later that evening when we arrived at the reception it was snowing just the right amount to head out for a few pictures.
Christina and Justin met through a mutual friend 6 years ago and have been busy building and planning their life together ever since. Their wedding was the culmination of 2 years of planning and hard work and considering that the weather even obeyed their command I think it was time well spent!
The day started as Sheer Bliss in Gray, Maine with hair and makeup for the ladies! Kudos to Janessa who rocked the girls hair!
Christina’s dress was GORGEOUS and so REGAL!
Once we were ready we headed over to Our Lady of Perpetual Help. This was Christina’s grandparents church and to honor them they decided to get married there.
This is possibly one of my favorite wedding images EVER!
Showtime!
Justin as he sees Christina for the first time – you can’t beat that expression….
Ready for the exchange..
Again with the expression – they are perfect!
Christina is a self-proclaimed Candy Addict so its only right that there was a candy bar at the reception. The team at Spring Meadows Country Club did a great job setting it up:)
Dance with dad…
Justin and his mom
There was a beautiful tree at the reception decorated with sparkly ornaments…I just added a bit more bling:)
The snow was falling lightly and they braved the cold to head outside for a bit – it was like being in a beautiful snow globe:)
The best part of this picture is the giant Ring Pop that is on Christina’s right hand – see it! She wore that all night in addition to her wedding rings!
This is Uncle Skip – whose fantastically awesome cars we used for the engagement session! It was good to connect with him and get a chance to catch up on his latest project:)
Chrissy and her mom!!
This lovely lady judged the impromptu dance competition that broke out.

Christina and Justin – I had a blast and loved every minute! I can’t wait to see what is next for you two:)
All my best,
