I loved Rachael and Ross’s wedding song – and now their pictures are set to that same music!  Enjoy!

warning:  this might be a ridiculously long post but with a wedding this fabu I didn’t know when to stop:)

Ross and Rachael were married on a picture perfect day on June 6,2009.  Honestly you could not have asked for better weather -in Maine – in June!!  Rachael has it dialed in with mother nature – the weather was in the low 70’s and sunny with just a bit of a breeze.  Enough about the weather – its the pictures we are here to see!

The day started with the ladies getting ready at Rachael’s parents house, which is where I found this gorgeous Maggie Sottero dress.   The staircase in the picture is one of the reason’s her parents loved this house – they always had a vision of a bride walking down those stairs…more on that later!

Rachael’s dress was laced all the way up the back – it took a team of people to pull it tight but it was so worth it…..

COME ON!  GORGEOUS!

As I said the staircase was an important part of the day and I wanted to make sure we captured Rachael as she descended to see her father…

Rachael had some of the cutest little girls in her wedding party – and they were big helpers while we were getting ready at the house!  I had alot of fun with them :)

Meanwhile back at the Ducktrap Retreat Ross and his groomsman were getting ready….

Ross’s daughter met us where they were getting ready – I just love these images!!

It was a bit wet in the low areas of the field so Ross was kind enough to carry Rachael to dry land!

All of the toasts were heartfelt and wonderful!  The best man gave a toast that left everone in tears – the good kind you get from laughing too hard!

First Dance!

cmcblog25

Ross had lots of ladies to dance with that night :)

It was getting near sunset so we took a quick trip down to the beach on the golf cart to catch some perfect light and some great shots….

cmcblog27

Our little trip would have been short and sweet but on the way back the golf cart broke down on us!  We had to walk the rest of the way up the hill to the Ducktrap.  What at first seemed like a pain turned out to be a chance for us to grab this shot:

Then the only thing left to do was to Rock The House!

I told you Racheal had it dialed in with Mother Nature – she had a full moon just for her big night!

Thank you Ross and Racheal – I had a blast!

All my best,

This weeks “big” run

June 12, 2009

Blog has been quiet since Memorial Day – my goodness have we been busy!  But I haven’t been sitting on my couch watching Twilight over and over – NO!  I have taken up running!

My weight loss has been stuck at ~45lbs for a LONG WHILE now and my doctor recommended running – so I did it.  I thought there wasn’t much to it but to get up and run but I was wrong!!  Running is much like photography or crafting or any other hobby! You need to have the right gear (I was fitted for sneakers), the planning is important (which days to run, which days to rest, etc) and good music always helps!

I even got myself a Nike+iPod insert for my sneakers and I have to tell you that has actually been the best motivator!  The techie in me loves that it tracks my runs (time, distance, speed and calories) and then it goes one step further and uploads it to the Nike Plus website.  The site allows me to get all kinds of feedback!!  Fastest run, longest run, what my progress has been, etc.

Even geekier is the Nike Mini I created.  Its a custom avatar you create that you can post in a variety of places (mine is on my facebook account) or have as a screen saver.  I almost never have a screen saver but I thought I would give this one a try and I loved it!  If you don’t log a run for a few days the Niki-mini in your screen saver gets sluggish and starts complaining about not running and says she is turning into a coach potato!  It cracked me up but it also was a wake up call I hadn’t run since Saturday – so yesterday I got out there!  Here is a widget of my run!

If you are a runner/walker and you use an iPod Nano I suggest the Nike +iPod combo – it will shake up your routine!

All my best,

Audra!
