I shot the Casey/Moores a couple of weeks ago – there are now 7 grandkids (soon to be 8?) and I stay true to my traditions when I shoot kids and I get them to jump at the end.  Getting 7 kids to jump is near impossible, fortunatley I only had 6 this time as the youngest is only 7 months old and we were able to rock it.  I am not sure what we will do when we have 7 (OR 8!!) but for now enjoy!  (Slideshow to come!)

Stalking the net

September 30, 2008

I spend a lot of time on the internet – ALOT!  Most of it spent researching and reading so that I can be the best wedding photographer I can be and so your images can ROCK!  Today during my search I came across a new blogsite by Justin and Mary.  They are some awesome wedding photographers based in Connecticut ( my old home state!) and I love love love their work.  That’s another reason I troll the site everyday – to get inspired and get ideas from some of the other people who are awesome at what they do – wedding photography!

If you get a chance check out their site: Justin and Mary

The cool thing about their site is that it combines a blog and a site – so its a blog site!  What a great way to not only provide fresh content every day but also give you clients one stop shopping for all they want to know about you – I am putting that on my 2009 wish list!

Tanisha and Steve: Wedding

September 21, 2008

I was honored to photograph Tanisha and Steve’s wedding on September 12th.  I have known Tanisha for quite a while and when I met Steve I could tell I had met Tanisha’s match.  They are so much fun to work with!  We had a great engagement session that you might remember, and I was a bit worried about the rain on her wedding day but Tanisha just rolled with it and we captured some great images in the rain!

Let’s start with some details from the day!  The Three Chimney’s Inn was the reception site and was a bright yellow, that went perfectly with the blue in her bouquet!

Tanisha and Steve were married in St. John’s Episcopal in Portsmouth – gorgeous church on the inside!! They had a no flash rule inside the church and since the church was a bit dark inside I just saw it as a challenge to take some wonderful images despite the rules!

I love this moment right before the ceremony starts.

Tanisha’s brother walked her down the aisle.

First Kiss!

I think this picture is so them!  They are always making each other laugh, which is super important for a marriage!

Aren’t they stunning!

We rocked the rain!  They are so laid back they didn’t let the rain get them down!

I think everyone should feel this way after their ceremony!

Tanisha and Steve and their great DJ John Dionne kept everyone on the dance floor all night!

So many wonderful images!!! Be sure to check out the slideshow for more images!!

Thank you Tanisha and Steve!
Warmly,

Audra

I met Jason and Katelyn (and her parents!) for the first time this past Saturday when we met to discuss their upcoming wedding.  Jason and Katelyn found me through my friend Sam (Hi Sam!!!) and I couldn’t be happier that she referred me!  Jason and Katelyn are super cool and laid back and LOVE the beach – as a matter of fact they are regulars at the beachside town my parents live in – small world!  I had a blast shooting their engagement session and had a super hard time narrowing it down!  Here are some of my favorites and a slideshow of more!

I still love the vintage… I will always love the vintage!

I am over the top vintage here!

Since the beach is such a big part of who they are they brought their beach chairs with them – and that is what makes an engagement session ROCK – when a couple brings a piece of themselves, or we go somewhere special to them – then the images really reflect who they are as a couple and where they are at this moment in time.

Thank you Jason and Katelyn!  I had a blast!
