at my mom’s house tonight while we were waiting for dinner I entertained my cousins by taking pictures of them doing tricks on their razor scooters… i shot about 200… i think they would have jumped all night if I had let them :)

July 29, 2007I shoot the Mansperger children again this weekend… the babies are walking! It was a challenge to get them all moving in the same direction or even in the same frame! Here are some of my favs:

July 27, 2007I received just about the nicest card today from the Lachiusa/Halter family. You might remember them, I took photos of them back in June.
They were wonderful to work with and for me they will always be the first big family I photographed! They had some of the most wonderful things to say and it makes me feel really blessed and happy that I can do something I love and provide a family with something they love.
I can’t begin to tell you how thrilled we are with our with your photos. You have created a treasure for us and we can’t thank you enough.”
and I can think is I can’t thank them enough!

Upcoming work and more work
July 25, 2007I have a busy couple of weeks coming up – 2 family sessions this weekend, 1 weekday wedding and 2 (possibly 3) weekend weddings! YAY! I can’t wait to get started on them and have a whole bunch of new images to show you!
I purchased a pair of comfy wedding shoes this week from Ecco. I selected these shoes because they have the TPU sole and should be good for standing all day. I am going to start wearing them as soon as they get here and maybe try them out for this weekend. When I booked my first wedding my first concern was about my feet and where would I be able to find shoes that would be comfortable all day! I think I have found them but my sisters thought I was nuts that that was my first concern. But all I could think was if my feet hurt then I wouldn’t be able to concentrate and do my client(s) justice! I think I have solved that problem, stay tuned for a full review.
